1. Type and purpose of data processing
The personal data provided in the contact form (e-mail addresses, names, addresses, telephone numbers and registration numbers) are provided by the user on an expressly voluntary basis.
The purpose of processing this data is to make and confirm appointments with the practice, as well as to create and follow up your Patient File for the purposes of your medical treatment.
The use of all services offered is – as far as technically possible and reasonable – also permitted without the provision of such data or by providing anonymous or pseudonymised data. The use by third parties of the contact data published within the framework of the imprint or comparable information, such as postal addresses, telephone numbers, registration numbers and e-mail addresses, for the purpose of sending unsolicited information is not permitted.
2. Legal basis
The processing of your personal data is, in accordance with Article 6, §1, b) of the RGPD, necessary for the execution of the care contract between you (Patient) and the attending doctor, who is subject to medical secrecy by virtue of the Luxembourg Code of Medical Ethics and, more particularly, Article 458 of the Criminal Code.
3. Duration of storage
Under the 2014 Act, the practice has a legal obligation to retain your Patient Record for a minimum period of ten (10) years. The retention period may be longer, if the nature of the illness requires it. The period runs from the most recent date between the date of your last consultation at the practice and the date of the last contact with you (such as the date of the last prescription).
At the end of this period, the data will be deleted or archived in an anonymised form.
